Whining.  Does it ever stop?  I love my children, but if there were one thing I could do without it would be the constant whining that goes on in my house.  Have I somehow taught this behavior?  Do I unknowingly encourage it?  These are questions I ask myself everyday.
Derek is out of town until late Thursday night.  These are the times when the whining really seems to get to me the most - when I know I don't have any backup coming anytime soon.  I will survive!!  My prayer for this week is this:

Dear Lord,
Please give me the patience to not scream at the children all day.  Help me to remember the awesome patience you have for me and all my imperfections. Give me the wisdom to know the right way to overcome the whining.
